Make a Legacy-Level Impact in the Senior Care Industry

Ceca Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity, whose mission is to recognize and celebrate exceptional health caregivers.  We seek a board member with fundraising experience, primarily in corporate sponsorships, and/or remote marketing to individual donors.

Ideal board candidates will share our passion for recognizing caregivers—possibly from personal experience—and come with strong leadership and nonprofit fundraising experience in 1) building a corporate sponsorship program, or 2) donor growth cultivation through online marketing. Candidates who have served in role such as corporate business development, strategic communications, and fund diversification will also be strongly considered. Grant writing experience is welcomed but secondary.

Since 2013, Ceca Foundation has proudly recognized over 60,000 acts of care, earned two national awards for innovation, consistently received Candid’s Platinum governance and transparency rating, and awarded more than $625,000 to care workers for their outstanding efforts. Ceca has traditionally provided an “institutional” turnkey recognition solution for healthcare communities consisting of Ceca’s software, support services and cash awards.

Building on more than a decade of success, we are expanding our model to increase our direct caregiver recognition on a national scale. In making the transition, Ceca has appointed new executive leadership and is seeking two new board members who are ready to make a significant impact at a pivotal time for the organization.

Board service is voluntary, and quarterly meetings are held remotely, with one in‑person strategic review convened annually.
