Ceca proudly announces Rashonda Rowe as a recipient of a 2025 National Ceca Award! Rashonda is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at The Virginia Home—a community that provides residents with irreversible physical disabilities a place where they can live and thrive.
Rashonda was recognized for her compassionate and dedicated care to the residents and is highly respected by residents, families, and coworkers for her strong work ethic, dependability, and warm, friendly nature. She takes great pride in residents’ care and appearance, offering thoughtful attention that enhances their dignity and quality of life. A trusted team player and advocate, she works independently while guiding and encouraging others. Residents and families praise her empathy and attentiveness, often noting the comfort and confidence she provides. Rowe truly embodies caregiving as a calling, bringing positivity, compassion, and excellence to all she serves.

She takes care of residents’ needs each minute of the day with love and empathy. I am blessed to have her take care of my son. An award reception was held on March 19 at The Virginia Home campus where Ceca President Nate Hamme presented the award to Rashonda along with leadership from The Virginia Home, other staff and residents. Additionally, she received a cash award of $2,500 and an engraved commemorative trophy.
